The folks at MIT are developing a gadget to make your biking commute easier. Very simply put, this attachment stores energy generated from rolling DOWNHILL for later use when riding UPHILL. Since the product is still in the development phase the price is perhaps a tad prohibitive ($799), but compare that to a car with gas, maintenance, registration, and parking fees and maybe the Copenhagen Wheel starts to sound more reasonable.
